BORDEAUX 60THE INTERIOR THAT YOU WANT The huge saloon - galley: an unrestricted view onto the ocean and stars… The Bordeaux 60 central living area is a space where volumes and light were carefully designed; they make this small superyacht look like a 70 footer in a sea-going spirit. For example the huge galley is fitted in with an imposing number of storage places and is situated in the central part of the boat, where pitching is less perceptible. It is situated slightly below the saloon level, onto which it opens for great conviviality, but remains a specific protected space altogether. The owner's cabin: to be comfortable at home The owner's cabin offers more comfort in port or at anchor; it is often situated forward by preference. Combined with the other two aft guests' cabins, this choice allows more sleeping accommodations in the aft for night sailing, whatever the tack. Bright and ventilated thanks to its four forward deck hatches, it has a true dressing room, 'as at home'. The private bathroom, with Tecma silent electric toilets and electric towel dryer, shows large spaces in width as well as in height. It can even be fitted with a whirlpool bath, as one of our Japanese owners opted for! The guests' cabins: the art of entertaining… Usually situated by preference in the aft, the guests' cabins have each a large private bathroom. However a door was added to the starboard heads, giving it a direct access without crossing the cabin: it is the day head, as on board superyachts… The engine room: the ability to enjoy autonomy … 'Machinery access throughout is first class and notably distinguishes the boat from mainstream production yachts', Yachting World. For a boat of that size, the easy access to the different technical equipments proves exceptional as a matter of fact. Another very important asset in the Bordeaux 60 is her level of sound insulation. The engine room, situated under the saloon (far from the cabins but also very near the boat centre of gravity), receives all the heavy and noisy elements: engine, generator, air-conditioning system… Another technical space is located under the companionway, accessing the water maker, battery chargers, various filters, etc. Easy use and maintenance were keywords when designing and positioning the various technical fittings on board the Bordeaux 60.. |
